Live Broadcast of Cleavage Symptoms

Some have butterflies in their stomachs, others have cockroaches in their heads, some have squirrels running into them, some have cuckoos flying away from them, but all this does not matter to those who have bedbugs in their box.

The dramaturgical basis of the performance was Oleg Bogaev’s play “Russian People’s Post”, written in the 90s about a man whose youth fell in the 40s of the last century. It’s a pity, but events in the world have taken such a turn that this story is not about the past, but about what is happening now. And it’s very scary that most of it sounds like a forecast of the not-so-distant future.

The main character is lonely. Relatives died, familiar neighbors moved away. All that connects him with the outside world is an old television, from which for many years they have been telling him what a wonderful country he lives in. He even has a medal for his involvement in achieving this common greatness. There is just no sense of belonging. It’s hard for him to believe in a bright future when he’s surrounded by a gloomy present: cutlets once a month and tea without sugar, and other planets in the night sky.

But any forecast is not a 100% guarantee. Everything can change if every person makes a conscious choice. Where will you look: in the box or out the window?
